SADHANA IT CLUB
“Practice makes man Perfect” is an old saying and this word is a new world order and for that we have changed the quote as “Practice for Perfection”,which is the caption for our IT club called SADHANA. Sadhana is a weekly event conducted by the students,for the students to improve their soft skills and to practice certain skills needed for their survival in the software industry. Various events conducted by the students, for the students: Management Club – Proficience organized Inauguration of SURGE 2017 on 21st Sept 17. SURGE was organized by 2nd Year BBA students with an intention of providing an opportunity for 1st year BBA students to excel themselves in upcoming challenges in corporate world and churn out the potential talents of the participants. Industrial Visits for the students enable them to integrate academics with Industrial expectations. (SVP Packers, Color Flex, Build Tech, Siridhaniya Foods Pvt. Ltd, Akshaya Patra-Iskon, Coca-cola, Hindustan Muktha Cashew Processing, L M Foods [ K C Das] II year BBA Students Eshwar B.R, Adarsh A, Thirunaryana Simhan and Ashwini Kumar Rathi, were a part of Charity Street Play organized by NGO SMITAM at Narayana Nagar, Konanakunte Fund Raising Event Called They raised a fund of Rs. 5,400, the fund was used for donating Wooden Benches and Sanitary Napkins to Rural Schools. SURGE-17 (Theme – CHECK MATE)
SURGE 2017 concluded on 28th Sept 17. Mrs Lakshmi Mahajan Katti was the guest of honor & Dr. Sakuntala Samuelson, Principal presided over the function.INDUSTRIAL VISIT
Industrial Visit & a Guest lecture was organized by RBI which was delivered by Mr. Shashi Dharan, Manager RBI and also students also visited currency Museum.STUDENT SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:(SSR)
Ashwin Kumar & Nithin V (II year BBA students) organized a Kindness Marathon through their event management company-Skylit. I year student Darshan T N was the winner of marathon.
Inspired by Swachh Bharat Abhiyan our II year & III year BBA students took up an initiative to clean the SRS road which is next to college. On 28th July 18 volunteers took plunge in this drive and cleaned the SRS Street & surrounding, also painted the wall.
Student volunteers collected Rs. 20,201/- towards Kerala and Coorg Relief Fund.
Students donated 560 long note books & stationery items to the students of Model Primary School, a Government School in Yediyur.Coming Soon...
