The two-year M.Sc. Psychology program provides a sophisticated blend of theoretical, research, and applied perspectives, evidenced by our record of over 20 University Ranks. Launched in 2022, this dedicated centre serves as a practical hub for students to master psychotherapy and counselling services, catering to the psychological well-being of the community through a systematic and holistic approach. The curriculum is meticulously structured to enable students to work across diverse fields, including Clinical Psychology, Child Guidance, and Organizational Psychology. Our graduates are highly sought after, with degrees recognized nationwide for pursuit of M.Phil and PhD programs in premier institutions. Beyond the core syllabus, we empower students through specialized value-added tracks such as Cognitive Retraining, Psychological Interventions, and Organizational Behaviour for Clinicians, ensuring they possess the analytical skillset to understand the evolving face of human behaviour in modern society. To gift the nation with highly disciplined responsible and skilled psychology professionals by providing value based education and training. By the end of the two year Masters Programme in Psychology, the graduates of M.Sc Psychology will be able to: Graduates of the M.Sc Psychology program should be able to achieve the following within 3 to 5 years of graduation: Graduates will apply comprehensive psychological theories, concepts, and principles to understand and address human behavior across clinical, counselling, organizational, and community psychology settings. Graduates will demonstrate professional competence in psychological assessment, intervention, and training by designing evidence-based treatment plans, psychoeducational programs, and capacity-building initiatives for diverse populations. Graduates will engage in ethical, culturally sensitive, and responsible psychological practice, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, confidentiality, and respect for individual and social diversity. Graduates will contribute to psychological knowledge and practice through ethical research, data analysis using appropriate statistical tools, and dissemination of well-structured research findings Graduates will exhibit critical thinking, reflective practice, and adaptability by pursuing lifelong learning and professional development to meet emerging challenges and advancements in psychology. Graduates of the M.Sc Psychology program should be able to achieve the following within 3 to 5 years of graduation: Apply core and advanced psychological theories and concepts to understand human behavior across clinical, counselling, organizational, and community settings. Demonstrate proficiency in psychological assessment and intervention by selecting appropriate tools, interpreting results, and designing evidence-based treatment or intervention plans. Design, implement, and evaluate training, psychoeducational, and capacity-building programs tailored to the needs of individuals, groups, and organizations. Conduct ethical and methodologically sound psychological research, including data analysis using statistical software such as SPSS, and prepare well-structured research reports. Exhibit ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, effective communication, and teamwork while maintaining professional behavior in diverse psychological work environments. Engage in critical thinking, self-reflection, and lifelong learning to adapt psychological knowledge and skills to emerging trends and real-world challenges. The department organizes a range of flagship programs, including the CXO Series, Alumni Series, and Entrepreneurship Series. It also offers four Finishing School initiatives, Industrial Conclaves, and the G.C. Surana Talent Hunt.
