Industrial visits play a vital role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial applications. Such visits provide students with first-hand exposure to industrial environments, advanced technologies, and real-time analytical practices, thereby enhancing their academic understanding and professional skills.

Objective: This visit was aimed at enriching the students’ knowledge in food chemistry, analytical instrumentation, quality control, and research methodologies.

As a part of the academic curriculum, the Department of Postgraduate Studies in Chemistry organized an industrial visit to the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, on 8th January 2026. The students gained deep insights into the practical application of chemical sciences within a premier national research laboratory.
