Dayananda Sagar University, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, organised BIOTECHON ’25 on November 21 and 22, featuring a variety of academic and skill-based competitions. Events such as Ideathon, Oral Presentation, Crime Scene Investigation, Quiz, Model Presentation, and Photography were designed to promote scientific thinking and creativity among post-graduate students.

The M.Sc. Chemistry students of Surana College, PG Department of Chemistry, actively participated in BIOTECHON ’25. Students enthusiastically took part in events such as Ideathon, Oral Presentation, and Quiz, showcasing their academic potential and creative thinking.

Academic Highlights: Our students delivered impressive oral presentations, effectively combining chemistry concepts with innovative ideas. Their participation helped them gain real-time exposure, enhance presentation skills, and understand interdisciplinary applications of chemistry.

Through these events, students gained hands-on experience, confidence, and new perspectives, along with improved teamwork and analytical abilities.

Achievement

We are proud to note that our M.Sc. students won cash prizes and earned certificates, bringing recognition and pride to the department. Students expressed that the event helped them learn new concepts, think creatively, and interact with peers from other institutions.
