Organized by the Department Of Commerce the GST Workshop held on 15 September 2025 in the seminar hall was an engaging and informative session for III and V Semester B.Com students. The program began with a warm welcome by Shivani S Hosmath, who set a positive and enthusiastic tone for the event. The guest speakers Mr. Prashanth, Mr. Yuvaraj, and Mr. Rajkumar shared their expertise in a simple and relatable way, making complex GST concepts easy to understand. They explained how GST works, how to register, file returns, and stay compliant, while also touching on income tax basics, financial documents, and the importance of PAN cards.
Students particularly enjoyed the real-life examples and interactive discussions, which helped them connect classroom learning with practical business situations. The workshop not only clarified concepts but also helped students in understanding taxation and its practical use.
