It is no wonder that companies and businesses demand that their staff learn MS Excel so that they can stay competitive. The need for Excel is very important to any business. It is used for matching and analysing cost. Validating and maintaining item/cost information, analysing cost variances for inventory. Auditing/processing invoices. Excel spreadsheet is used to store quantitative data and to perform accurate and rapid calculations with results ranging from simple budgets to financial analyses and statistical analyses. Excel is part of a user interface which is the meeting point between computer software and the person using it and provides the means for a person to communicate with a software program.
